S1A Intensive technique class

Through six intensive training sessions over two weeks, this course comprehensively enhances students' contemporary dance skills. It trains core abilities, improves coordination and spatial awareness, and elevates the fluidity and precision of movements.
*Suitable for people with two years or more of contemporary dance experience.

S1B Performing Arts Workshop
Tutor: Mr. Cyrus Hui
The workshop will guide participants in exploring the infinite possibilities of everyday objects and physical performance. Through guided exercises, participants will learn how to breathe new life into ordinary objects, transforming them into performance elements and creating a unique visual language. The workshop focuses on inspiring imagination, cultivating improvisational responses, and fostering intriguing dialogues between objects and the body.

Professional Dance Training Programme

P1A Dance Techniques
The "Professional Dance Training Program" is designed for individuals with a background in professional dance training. The first half-hour of the class focuses on Pilates training, followed by 1.5 hours of contemporary dance training. This program aims to enhance dancers' body awareness, physical fitness, and performance capabilities. It provides consistent physical training to help dancers maintain their optimal physical condition, thereby improving their teaching and performance standards.

Elderly Contemporary Dance Programme

This course is specially designed for seniors, using relaxed rhythms and simple dance activities to enhance physical mobility and balance. With guided instruction, participants are encouraged to tap into their creativity, express themselves freely, and stimulate their imagination. The class also promotes relaxation and social interaction. No prior dance experience is required, making it ideal for older adults interested in contemporary dance and creative movement.

Please read this "Quarterly Course Registration Process and Instructions" carefully. The group will use all information provided in the registration form as the basis for registration.

Applicants must accurately fill in their contact information on the registration form, including their full name in both Chinese and English, contact phone number, and email address, so that our staff can contact them.

Please do not exceed the payment amount.

If there are still places available after the course starts (must be at or before the eighth class), students can join. Students must pay the tuition fee for the number of classes enrolled ($160 per class) and an administrative fee of $150, which must be paid in full one week before the class.

Our tutor will design corresponding dance training according to the course level; please choose a class that suits your level.
Course Regulations

Students are requested to attend classes on time and on schedule. Any class changes will be notified by email or WhatsApp three hours prior to class.

Students attending single classes must purchase their tickets at Artmate to class and receive the notification email before attending.
-
Students are encouraged to wear T-shirts and clean socks to class for personal hygiene reasons.
If there are no students 15 minutes after the start of the class, it will be cancelled. -
Students may be required to present an identification document for verification of eligibility by our staff. The company shall have the right to refuse class participation of those who fail to prove their eligibility.

In accordance with their ability, students should take on their risks and participate in the classes. Women who are pregnant should not take part in classes; the company is not liable for any injury or illness which may result from these courses. If necessary, the students may consider applying for insurance themselves.

For the purpose of promoting and recording, the company reserves the right to take photos or video footage during a class.

If a class cannot be held due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified one week before the class starts. Tuition will be fully refunded. (Handling fees are non-refundable.)

Passoverdance reserve the right to cancel classes and refund all fees paid (platform handling fees are not refundable, please note).

The personal data as provided in the application form shall be used for the company newsletter and promotion. Applicants have the right to request access to and correct personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Please contact the company if necessary.
Make-up Class Arrangement

Please let us know by e-mail at least two day in advance, and we will notify the tutor and schedule the make-up class accordingly. Students who have missed the class without proper notice will not have make-up class arrangements. The company reserves the right to the final decision.

If the number of attendees for the selected class is full on the day, no make-up classes will be arranged. Please to select another date or class.
-
Make-up classes are only available for regular dance classes. (Special classes, such as P1A, P2F, Elderly Contemporary Dance Programme, and special workshops, are not eligible for make-up classes.) P2-F do not accept make-up lessons from other classes.

We cannot reschedule a missed or pre-arranged make-up class.
-
A maximum of 2 make-ups could take place each season, regardless of the reason for them.
-
Make-up classes must be taken during the season, and not allowed to be taken in the next season regardless of the reason for the make-up.
Typhoon and Rainstorm
1. Classes that have not started
Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3

If the Hong Kong Observatory hoists Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3, or issues Amber/Red Rainstorm Warning Signal, all classes will be held as usual.
Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning

If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted three hours before the course starts, or the signal is still hoisted, the course will be cancelled.
2. Classes that have started
Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3

When Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3, or Amber/Red Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted, classes will continue.
Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning

When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted, the course will be terminated immediately.
3. The dance troupe can decide whether to continue the class based on the actual situation. Please stay tuned for the latest updates on our company’s Facebook/Instagram.
4. The above is for general reference only. In any case, students should consider the weather, road and traffic conditions in each region and decide whether to go to our center to attend classes. No make-up classes or refunds will be given for absences under this circumstance.
5. Classes cancelled due to typhoons or other severe weather conditions will not be notified in advance and no make-up classes or refunds will be arranged.
