Young Choreographer Series

This performance presents two modern dance works, choreographed by Gabbie Chan and Jody Nip. The two new choreographers took the theme "Beginning" as the starting point for their creation and re-searched for the deep personal meaning of "Beginning" to the choreographers. The two choreographers further explored based on their personal experiences and questions about impermanence, trying to find more possibilities.

Since 2009, Passoverdance has focused on cultivating new choreographers and has begun to focus on inheritance work. We firmly believe that the word inheritance gives new choreographers a lot of space to develop and research their own propositions. The mentors are there to share their own experiences with the new choreographers, providing more different perspectives for discussion and thinking, so that the work will have more meaning.
