Yiyi Set Sail
"Yiyiqihang" is an annual dance education course for young people developed by the New Testament Dance Stream since 2015. It provides dance lovers with a systematic and step-by-step creative dance education, focusing on skill training (physical fitness), creative training (thinking) and art Appreciate (aesthetic) experiences in the three learning areas. The course uses the basic theories of dance creation to allow students to understand the elements and concepts of artistic creation through improvisation and choreography, and experience the fun and sense of success.

The first year
The first year mainly focuses on improvisation. Students will provide dance appreciation and creativity training through improvisation training in the classroom. At the end of the first year, a small performance will be held to share the learning results with the audience.

The second year
The content of the second year is mainly choreography skills. Yiyiqihang students will arrange a work by themselves and perform it in an annual small performance.

The third year
Yiyiqihang will extend the creative concept that emerged in the second year. Guided and inspired by the artistic director and guest instructor, it develops into a complete dance production. It is hoped that this will allow students to deepen the creative process and enhance the quality and connotation of the work.

"2020-21 Yiyiqihang Choreography Exhibition" Dancer Recruitment
This selection will look for dancers for the ten graduates of "Yiyiqihang". Each of the ten graduates has a different choreography style, each extending from the creative concept that emerged last year, deepening his work again, and choreographing ten works. Graduates hope to find suitable dancers through this selection and explore more choreography possibilities together.

Selection content: dance skills and improvisation
Dancer requirements:
-One year or more experience in dance or physical training is required
-Happy to perform solo or pas de deux
-Open minded and willing to participate in the exploration and experimentation of choreography
-Dancers must participate in rehearsals, work development process exhibitions and official performances from the end of November 2020 to April 2021
-The rehearsal date and time will be decided by the choreographer and dancers
-Exhibition of works development process: 19/12, 9/1, 6/2, 6/3, 27/3, 10/4 (Saturday)
